I lost points on last week's writing assignment. Why? For one, because I wrote "rumours" and the instructor corrected it to "rumors." Apparently English spelling doesn't fly in (wait for it) an
English class -- we're all required to write American-style. (The other point was for missing a space between two words. It probably vanished after Word mangled my paragraphs, during my attempts to restore order. That part irks me but was fairly assessed.)
Between that and the classmate whose idea of constructive crit is correcting everyone else's run-on sentences and fragments, even those that occur in naturally flowing dialogue, you'll have to excuse me. I need to go kill some pixels now. (You may mourn the poor, defenceless pixels if you wish.)
Before I go, let us also mourn my late Tabulas styles. They were pretty, but (for) now they are dead. They used large images in
my Tabulas gallery. Said images are currently AWOL. I've already filed a support ticket and am waiting to at least hear confirmation that this is a known problem.
The template bug has since been solved. Yay!
