injury-free

Look Ma, no injuries! Yesterday I didn't sustain any physical trauma at all. Yay, a new personal best!
A partial list of last week's damages:
- Nosebleed right before bed (wouldn't have been so bad, except I'm on a prescription nasal spray...)
- After shovelling snow: "That's weird, this fingertip is still blue. Really blue." Frost + snug Band-Aid = nip!
- "The door jamb ate half my fingernail!"
- The coup de grace: I fell down the stairs. Boy, did I! My elbow has a bright blue stripe down it; my left hip and knee haven't been the same since. I also managed to thwack the back of my head on every damn step. As it turns out, there is no good way to hold ice on an elbow bruise unless the bruise is on the tip of the joint, which mine isn't.
These are very minor (with the exception of the Stairwell of Doom). But because of my sinus problems, I have to sleep on my side, the same side every night. That is of course the side that is purple-spotted from my trumble, not the side with just a touch of rugburn from the same event. Sleeping in a different position would prolong my sinus problems.
Le sigh. I shall soldier on somehow.
